About Adarsh Lok Kalyan Sansthan
Adarash Lok Kalyan Sansthan (ALKS) is inspired by the philosophy of the Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Saint Vinoba Bhave and Lok Nayak Jayprakash Naryan. Based on Gandhian thought, Sangthan (Organization), Shikshan (Education), Rachana (Development) & Satyagrah (Non violent struggle) are basic ethos of the organization for laying the foundation of the new ideal society where dignity and welfare of every human being is of utmost value and coexistence with nature is the guiding principle of social life. The benevolent world where people live with peace, harmony and solidarity with each other is the ultimate aim of the organization.
Response in COVID - 19
ALKS has run intense social awareness programme for COVID - 19. It organized awareness programme on social distancing, hand washing, hygiene practices and use of masks. The organization distributed masks, soaps and sanitizers more than 10000 migrant families. It also arranged food for migrant labors.
