The organization envisions an ideal society based on Gandhian principles of equality, justice, cooperation, trust and non violence where people live in peace, harmony and prosperity with dignity. It is all-inclusive, pluralistic, and non-discriminatory and exploitation free society.

In the wake of, social-economical, moral and environmental crisis the mission is to reawaken people consciences to lead life of moral, ethical values with mutual respect and compassion for each other, empowering the marginalized section of the society (Poor and Deprived) with various kinds of skill development training programmes, endowment to local natural resources and pursuing non-violent struggle against any kind of discrimination and exploitation to them.

ALKS works mainly for the marginalized sections of the society who are still deprived of development opportunities, resources and face discrimination. They are people from schedule castes, EBC, minorities, landless, labor, farmers, women, children, Transgender, helpless senior citizen, PLHIV, youths and others.
